YUM ~ OREO Orange Zested Cookie Ball Pops

Cookie balls get an adult upgrade with orange marmalade and zest added to the mix. A batch of these dessert bites will go fast at any party.

Prep Time: 35 minutes

Total Time: 1 hour & 35 minutes

Servings: Makes 48 servings, 1 cookie ball pop each.

Ingredients:

* 1 pkg. (8 oz.) brick cream cheese, softened

* 36 Golden OREO Cookies, crushed

* 1 Tbsp. orange zest

* 1/4 cup orange marmalade

* 16 oz. white candy coating wafers, melted

* 1/2 cup multi-colored sprinkles or sugars

Preparation:

Cover rimmed baking sheet with wax paper. Mix cream cheese, cookie crumbs and orange zest until blended; shape into 48 (1-inch) balls.

Spoon marmalade into piping bag fitted with 1/4-inch tip. Use to pipe about 1/4 tsp. marmalade into center of each cookie ball. Place on prepared baking sheet. Freeze 10 minutes.

Dip 1 lollipop stick into candy coating, then insert dipped end of stick into center of 1 cookie ball. Return to baking sheet. Repeat with additional lollipop sticks and remaining cookie balls. Freeze 10 minutes.

Dip cookie ball pops, 1 at a time, into remaining candy coating, turning to completely coat each cookie ball with candy coating. Return to baking sheet. Immediately top with sprinkles.

Refrigerate 1 hour or until candy coating is firm. Keep refrigerated.

Recipe Tips:

Substitution Substitute Neufchatel cheese for the cream cheese.

Special Extra Use sprinkles in the colors of your favorite sports team(s).

How to Easily Dip the Cookie Balls For best results, keep the cookie balls refrigerated until ready to dip, in small batches, in the melted candy coating wafers.

We found the cheapest GAS in YOUR state!

For a moment we were able to catch a break on those high gas prices until...

The nightmare began all over again. Gas prices across the United States of America continue to skyrocket to nearly $4 a gallon this week.

In March 2022, AAA reported that the average price of gas in Utah is $3.768, which was slightly above the national average of $3.43.

While the pain at the pump may last a while, there are places across the U.S. where it's still possible to find good deals.

With help from GasBuddy, drivers can click on the links below to find the cheapest gas prices in areas around the states:

In February of 2023, we began seeing gas prices sneaking back up yet again. Prices have risen by about $0.53 since last month.

Nationally, it costs above $3.43 on average for a gallon of gas, according to AAA.

Fox13 News reported:

"In a statement earlier this week, Utah Gov. Spencer Cox blamed the rising prices on a Utah refinery closing for annual maintenance that's taking longer than expected".

"Utah’s gasoline prices typically increase in March because of higher demand; however, due to the regional supply decrease, those price increases have jumpstarted earlier than expected," Cox said in a statement. “Unfortunately, this comes on top of an increase in natural gas prices, and we’re very concerned about those struggling to make ends meet."

In addition, a Colorado refinery shut down in December due to malfunctioning equipment as well as a series of safety concerns, which surely didn't help matters; which is expected to (hopefully) be resolved by March.

• I am so glad I found http://www.stretchthatdollar.com/.
I love http://www.stretchthatdollar.com/ because it is someone sharing their knowledge of savings and freebies in a day when so little people want to share anything.
The grocery bag deals are rarely for any of the stores in my area, but I pass the information on to others, that also clip q-pons and do their best to live frugally.
I do make sure I check the sunday coupons against the grocery deals that are posted, just to be sure I didnt miss something of interest on my own. (I have been known to miss a few...LOL)
I have saved so much by ordering items from the hot deals of the day too. Toys for my son and grandson . A clock for my father, that was made by a company that he has been searching for, since last fall. He loved it so much he ordered another one for his girlfriend.
Being a stay at home mom, after being the major bread winner in our family, our income has decreased by 2/3! http://www.stretchthatdollar.com has made stretching our very meager budget so much easier.
So...Thank you for all that you do, it is greatly appreciated.

• I can find what I need by coming to your site and it's my favorite and usually the only one I visit for the best deals. Right now I'm looking for a deal on a hand vac. My 5 yr. old vacuumed up a bowl full of water with my last one. It no longer works, but atleast he didn't electrocute himself!
